marfiskAnd once again, just slipping in a wee little bit, only 1108 words. I'm not quite done with the scene, and I don't know if it works, but progress is progress.
She's no longer a reliable narrator and she's the only POV, which makes things a little dicey. I'm skimming a lot of time since she's not really experiencing it either, but only crits will tell if the technique worked.
