Whoops. I was so excited I forgot to post an update :).

When She Calls is now complete at 100094 words. Yeah, I did indeed express concerns about length in the beginning, but in this case I was not wrong. To get to that length, I added a major subplot. The advantage of this thread is that it allowed the ending to be even more well rounded and gave good reason for how and why the MC of book 2 in the two book series could find Andon and not know he was a priest...umm, cause he isn't? *grin* Anyway, for now my focus has to be on editing. I gave it short shrift and I'm paying for it with little to no progress. I don't know if I'm doing NaNo, but if I am, I'll possibly post that one. The pace, though, will be a lot less leisurely, I promise you :).

Hmm, one wonders who this someone is :).

The answer is that it is in the line, but where is unknown.

I need to finish Kyrnie.
Then I have the crits back for Heart of the Crystal
I've already started the read through pass of The Key That Must but got pulled away.
I'll need to go through Kyrnie again

That's what I know. Whether Selkie comes in before or after The Key That Must is still up in the air.

Thanks :). It happens to all of us sooner or later I suppose ;). Actually, this is the longest a novel has taken in several years. But I don't think the book was harmed by it.

Good luck with Nano (if you join us this year)! I'm crazy (uncertified as of yet ... LOL!) and am going to attempt NaNo during the same month as my niece's wedding and Thanksgiving!

Thanks :). And yeah, that is crazy :). I'm doing the whole NaNo waffle that ended up with me grabbing an already completed outline and running with it at the last second last year. Thanks to Lazette Gifford, I now try to have at least a couple of those lying around. I thought it wouldn't work for me, but it does!

Of course I finally had a novel idea gel into a synopsis the other day and actually made the comment that maybe I'd do that for NaNo. Guess you're not alone on the insane. Good luck and hope to see you there :).
