4004 words for today and no idea on the scene count. I'm still in the very beginning. I'm not sure what meaning this ritual that I'm currently embroiled in has beyond the moment and it may end up cut, but progress is progress.

And at this point, I'm happy with any progress I can get. I think I do so well on NaNo because it's cold. I can do a good chunk of words in a hot isolation room for an hour (my car) but I can't sustain it.
