Finis!

The most amazing thing has happened :). The book that would never end ended today. And with a powerful scene as far as I could tell. It almost had me in tears as Wardah rediscovers Diggory only to have him reject her story as fantasy. But they manage to work it all out by the end. I promise little in the ways of comfort with my novels, but everything always ends on a positive note :D.

As far as the writing and the outline went, it turned out the last 3-6 scenes were actually parts of the same scene. Since this scene is right at the end and is longer than any of the previous chapters, I'm thinking I'll find a place to break it up during the edit, but we'll see.

I finally did a word count of my current WIP and found that I'm at 9 chapters and 41000+ words, so I'm farther ahead than I thought. I must say this is the fastest I've ever written a novel... :)

Now for the hard part--hope you get it published!

Thanks :). And you'll get there too. You just have to keep writing and before you know it...or long after it should have been in my case ;)...you'll be done.

The publication though, that takes a bit cause I have others to edit first. Have to forget this one before I tackle it as an editing project.

And yeah, I'm home again. Hubby kicked me out just on the edge of the storm :p.

Yeah, mom told me she woke up to pouring rain this morning. I don't know what's it doing over Donner, but it's not a fun drive in the snow. (And really not a fun drive in white-out conditions, which I strongly urge everyone to avoid.)

Thanks :). Now I have to decide what project to put up here next. I'm thinking my next edit project, because I'm now in the middle of another book (well, the beginning of) and in the middle (the real middle) of an edit. Doesn't make sense to start now and I didn't have the energy to blog them when I started them :p.

Thanks Maria. I'm a little nervous about editing it, but that's okay, there's a ton of other things waiting in front of it ;). I'm already off in the middle of another book, but the transition happened too quickly to blog it. That said, I'm thinking of blogging a late stage edit for the fun of it and I think you just gave me the impetuous to get started :D.
